The product worked when I received it, but it was defective in the sense that it only worked on the right side of the stereo system. At first I thought it was the stereo itself, but later figured out it was the adapter when the radio came back on both speakers. If you want low quality products for your iphone, this product is for you. Too much hassle to exchange it. Waste of $2.99.
